I would think on a cheapo lens that it is glued in, especially if the filter thread ring is plastic. Sometimes you can prove this by feeding a strip of paper between the edge of the ring and the filter threads. Conversely; if there is no space between the front element and the inner edge of the ring, in which to place a thin lever - then the ring make be screwed in. |
