Hi! First post. I got a Canon P a few weeks ago. Figured out how to align it horizontally and vertically. Everything's good, except that the self timer does not trigger the shutter at the end of its run.

Is there some sort of quick-fix to this problem? I'm not prepared to do an extensive repair. At the same time, it's a niggling issue; I wouldn't take it in just for that. Apart from the self-timer, the P is flawless; what a great camera!
