Hi,
I'm new to the forum. I have a 159 in which the mirror hits against the inside end of the lens when the mirror flips up. It wedges there and the shutter won't fire. This only happens on several of my Zeiss lenses, not on all of them, and not on my Yashica or Tamron ones. I know this isn't normal because I have another 159 which clears these lenses. It looks as though the mirror on the problem one is farther forward in the body than in the other one. Can a mirror move? What is the fix? Is it a do it yourself job? Thanks.
