I am trying to clean a Pax (Yamato) shutter. The shutter blades are sticky. I have tried a naptha flush - several times - to no avail. So I want to disassemble the shutter to clean the blades. I have removed the lens/shutter assembly from the camera, removed the lens cells, shutter cover, speed cam and escapement. I can't see how to continue - to separate the shutter and get at the blades. I tried three small screws in the base of the shutter - no help. There are three other tiny screws (require a 1mm blade) in the base but doubt that they would hold the shutter together and am afraid I might loosen something I don't want to if I try them. Any knowledge on this? This is the Ruby model of the Pax line. Thanks, Larry |
