I hope this is the right place to post this question. I finally managed to lay my hands on my Dad's old projector and was looking forward to showing the youngsters our old family footage, but the belt was broken. I have just replaced the belt drive but unfortunately what appears to be a piece of card, probably a heat deflector, fell out before I noticed where it went. I cant seem to match it up to any likely positions. Can anyone help with a description or photo of where it goes? Thanks Jon |

I have a Kodak Brownie 8 model a-15 projector that i bought in the 50's and the focus wasn't working since it has been stored in my attic for about 25 yrs. I took it apart, but am looking for an assembly book for it,as i have a couple of pieces that i am not sure where they fit. |

Hi Retthom, perhaps we can help each other out. Do you have the UK spec projector; if not then it may be very different to mine, but let me know what parts you are not sure of and I'll see if I can help by looking at mine as the only piece not in it's original place is this card like shield. Photo's might help identify parts. I did contact a company over here in the UK that sells a repair manual but it's only a few pages and I'm not sure how detailed it is. It costs £14.95 but I didn't want to spend this especially as they weren't sure if it contained the info I needed. Regards Jon |

Hello Jon and Retthom, I'm currently repairing a Kodak Brownie 8mm a-15 projector, and stumbled upon your posts. I don't know if your posts are still current, or not. But if they are, I have some photos of the inside of the projector. If you're still working on the projector, I was thinking we could maybe help one another here? My email address is: [email protected] Best regards, Grant. |
