I own a Jupiter-11 (4/135 mm) telephoto lens in M39 mount(from 1958). It should be relubed. But I could not remove the optical block. I tried to unthread the lens block with rubber mat and even a nutcracker, but without any effort. I did not dare to use more drastic tools, e.g. chuck or clam. They can damage the lens. Does the optical block tighten firmly? Or it has an RF thread? What kind of tips do you have? |
