I have an XG-M and it works good except after I take one picture I wind the film and the operation button does nother I have to push the "stop-down" button in and let go then I can snap a picture with the operation button or I can sometimes turn the camer off then after a few seconds turn it back on then the operation button worksand the shutter snaps please help I am just getting into photography and theis was a yard sale find that I would like to keep in-expensive
My best guess would be the shutter release capacitors, but I'm not sure where those are on the XG-M (or if the release capacitors are even the problem)
I know this sounds stupid - but have you put new batteries in? It should take 2 pcs. SR44 batteries IIRC. Also clean the battery contacts e.g. with the eraser side of a pencil. Best regards Martin
