Hi all: It has been a fairly unlucky week for me. My nikkormat FT3 and FG died on me within a few days. My FT3 got stuck at B setting and firing is intermittent. I tried to clean the cocking ram but it doesn't seem to work. FG just totally jammed. I can't wind forward. When I try to wind forward, only one of the curtain will wind. I don't even know where to start. Do you think I can fix these problems myself? Thanks, Gary |

On the FG, make sure the batteries are good. Set shutter to B and see that unjams it. |

Hi: I got it fixed! It's a bent disk on the bottom. I spent quick some time to figure this out but it's working fine now. Still haven't figured out how to fix FT3 yet... Gary |

I've got an Nikon FG. I just found out their shutters are electronic. With mine the shutter curtains will not open except on M90 and Bulb shutter settings. Does this mean a computer chip is too old in it? How much for repair? |

And I replaced the batteries. I just got into photography and found this camera in our storage. |

I also have got a FG and have the same problem shutter works only on B M90. Replaced the battries and found no differance. I could cycle the shutter however after it remained open by removing the battery. |

Did anyone find a *cure* for this problem because I am experiencing the same one, OK on B and M90 but nothing on any of the other settings |
