hi, after disassembly of my ME super to re-bend the wind lock catch. (as described at https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/pentaxmeproblems.html) I'm having a problem with re-assembly of the camera, and getting the winding guide plate back in but more specifically getting the shutter charge lever assembly back in place. If anyone has further detail on performing this operation, it'd be very helpful. |

You disassembled the wind mechanism to bend the wind lock? Opps! It can be bent using a couple screwdrivers: one as a pivot and the other as a pry bar. Only the bottom cover need be removed. But still...that doesn't help you much now. How disassembled is it? Is the clock-like main spring unwound? |

the good news is i got it back together and all works fine, except now the wind lock doesnt engage after it's wound. it'll take photos but doesn't lock in between. |
