I should not visit flea markets any more - went there to buy nothing and returned with two more cameras. One of them is a Cosina Hi-Lite 401. The lens front ring is missing, the mirror foam was gummy (now removed) and during the removal the focussing screen received a scratch... I planned to swap it against one with a split image indicator anyway.

Only flaw this old beast has is that the light meter is at least two steps off. I removed the top cover and found that the galvanometer is turned by turning the shutter button (and/or the ASA dial) and linked to the latter via a string. Is it possible to adjust the light meter by turning the position of the string pulling wheel, or will it be possible to use the two variable resistors on the pc board around the prism? I think the resistors will mainly set linearity of the light meter.

Ooops... should read 'Hi-Lite 402', of course.
