I am so disappointed - I've just replaced my long-lost FE2 but the meter wasn't working when I received the body. The company was fantastic in taking it back and getting it repaired - when it first came back to me (about 3 wks ago) the meter worked fine. I left town the day after it arrived - came back and the meter again is not registering. It's not the batteries - they register as strong - and the shutter release works. What could've happened? (I haven't even used it, it's hardly been moved from where I put it after removing it from the box, and it hasn't been bumped or dropped).

Thanks for any info,

Michelle

I don't know, but it needs to go back to whoever just repaired it. the repair should carry a guarantee for some reasonable period of time, certainly more than 3 weeks.

It sounds like they may have trapped a wire on reassembling the camera. It works fine until the
pressure breaks the insulation, then it shorts out.Send it back to the repairer, they will have
seen this happen before!
