Hi,
I have just got hold of a very good condition Canon T80, the only problem is the slide switch is very stiff so I think it needs a bit of TLC. Does anyone have suggestions to solve this?
The other problem is I cannot find a Service manual for the T80 anyware, can anybody help?

Try some isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to clean the slide switch path. I have searched quite extensively but have yet to find a T80 service manual. If you need to remove the top cover the procedure is very similar to the T70 and you can use it's service manual for reference.
