Hi. Can someone tell me how to remove the lens mt. (Nikon ) on this lens. I have removed the 5 screws from the mount . Still wont budge. Shutter is stuck. I assume this is were I should start. Carl |

Hmmm - the shutter is in the camera not the lens; can you re-word your question? Regards - Martin |

Thank You Martin. The apertture in the lens is not functioning. (Stopping down ) Turning the aperture ring will not make the lens stop down. Moving the little lever which protrudes through the lens mt. does not operate the lens. Feels as if the lever is bound up. Sorry about my terminolgy. Carl |

Carl This is a common problem on these older lenses. The lubricant has migrated down to the aperture blades, and is gumming them up. Give me your mailing address, and I'll send you a copy of the repair manual. That's a very good lens, and worth the effort. Kiron kid |
