Age must be getting to me..... I seem to have forgotten which of the three concentric rings one loosens to remove the rear lens cell in order to access the shuter blades. If memory serves me correctly, it was the middle one - can somebody confirm? All three rings are quite difficult to access and I would not want to remove one ring only to find out it was the wrong one...... Many thanks and Merry Christmas to all! Jan |

I am quite sure it's the middle one. The outer one holds the shutter to the lens plate, the middle one is the rear end of the rear lens cell. The inner one just holds the rear lens element, it will fall off when loosening that ring. |

Thanks, Winfried. I have aproblem getting my spanner to fit into the middle ring's groves - would it be easier if I removed the whole shutter by unscrewing the outer ring? All I really need to do is to clean the blades and the adjacent lens surfaces . Thanks again, Jan |

Duh... Silly me, I knew I saw the information somewhere; did not realize it was within such an easy reach. Many thanks! Jan |
