I realize this isn't a classic, but I'm wondering if anyone out there can tell me what it means when a ERR appears on the LCD screen? It focuses, the programs change as they should, but it won't fire and the ERR message appears. |

Hello Harlee, ERR stands for 'Error' and unfortunately could mean a lot of bad things. Did you try switching the camera off, removing the battery, re-installing it and trying all over again? Sorry - I am ot that familiar with the N70, but these auto-everything marvels sometimes misbehave and the weirdest things just might fix them. All the best, Jan |

Jan, Hi - tried that but I may put some new batteries in and see if that does it. I don't have it, just looking at it at the local Cash America - it's like new. |

Make sure that the lens apeture ring is set to its minimum setting. AF lenses have a lock for that position. |
