I have a relatively new Vivitar "point & shoot" camera (model PZ3115)from my mother estate. The camera works fine except for one big problem. The viewfinder does not work with the zoom lens. Specifically - a subject viewed through the viewfinder does not change in size when the zoom lens is used. Any suggestions on fixing this problem?
I know this is not a "classic" camera, but I am hoping someone can give me some help.

I have a Vivitar(PZ3115)camera, the flash does not work I have replaced the battery and it still does not work. Can you please help. Thank you
