Hello, how does the rc lens come apart? Can I access through the front with out removing the lens? I just want to do a little cleaning and lube.....Thanks

It's very simple. Just unscrew the thin locking ring around the lens trim. You will need to make a two-point tool or use dividers to engage the slots in the ring to turn it. Once you have the front trim off, you will see that the lens is a single module that sits in front of the shutter. It is easy to remove and service the lens.

... but it is not so easy to get the helicoids back together, they have a very snug fit. It will need several tries to get the threads together again. Also, you will have to readjust the lens and the rangefinder in case you did not leave marks where the lens came off the threads.
