I just got one of these(along with a 55mm 1.7) in a box lot of Canon FD lenses. Since I have no use for it, I plan to pass it along to another lucky bidder on Ebay.
The only problem is that the aperture is oily and a bit sluggish. Since I'm sure it will bring more money with a properly working aperture, I'd like to fix it.
Can anyone provide any tips as to what would be the best way to go about acessing the aperture so that I can clean it?

The MC lenses and blades are relatively easy to clean compared to many other types & brands although the aperture blades seem a bit fragile. If you have cleaned blades before you may already know the solvent to use (naphtha) and the technique / procedure? Several Internet sites explain the process in detail.
