i have replacement beamsplitter glass for the foggy glass in these pictures: https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/forum/messages/2/8902.html?1172926211 does anyone have advice on removing the old glass in tact? it seems to be cemeted in. i need the old glass in one piece as a template for cutting the new piece. |

Hi Thefsb - I sucessfully removed the cemented in glass in an Olympus Pen-S using a rotary tool and a very small engraving cutter (0.8mm). But taking a close look at your posted photos, doesn't look like you have very much room to work in. I had a lot of room in the Pen-S to access the glass. Rich_b |

can one losen the cement with solvents like acetone? |

The beamsplitter is 13mm X 24mm. Bust the old one out and have the new one cut to the proper size. |
