Hello, I´ve just got a good working Yashica Electro GSN. The only thing i noticed is, that if looking throuth the viewfinder, I dont see the lights for over- and underexposure. I have to make my eyes look very high into the viewfinder to see a red or yellow light, but I only see a light and no arrows. Anyone can help me with this? I hope you understand whta my problem is. thanks Christina |

They are supposed to be at the top of the VF. But if you are not seeing arrows, then the little colored piece has come of the light holder insdide the top. |

What Greyhoundman said -- but also -- on the early GSN, there are no red and yellow arrows, but simply red and yellow round lights. Is this what yo are seeing? |

The little lamps for over- and underexposure plus some black paper/ foam seals are glued in place, this is to say the whole arrangement including where and how they appear in the viewfinder can be influenced ("adjusted", corrected) to a degree, but it is hard to tell from a distance what in particular has to be done to achieve the desired results; a photo showing the lamps' status quo would be of help, I guess, W. |
