I bought a Konica Auto S a few days back and have restored and CLAd it. It works fine, but that plastic battery cover is bothering me. I can see that leading to trouble all too easily. What I am wondering is if a metal battery cover would work on it and if there is a camera out there that is cheap, has a metal cover that would fit, and that would be worth buying, as a junker, just for the battery cover (although I'd undoubtedly mine it for its other parts). |
