hey all, new to the forums. I picked up a halina 35X today for a few bucks and everything seems to be in working order except most of the time the shutter sticks opened, anybody got advice on how to fix this? Im fine with doing it myself as its not worth sending away :p and I cant do any more damage to it |

Probably needs cleaning with lighter fluid, although buying a lens spanner to take the lens apart would probably set you back more than the camera cost. Seeing as theyre cheap cameras anyway I would just buy another |

Dannybear, Did you get your Halina 35X fixed ? I bought one new in 1966, and it is still in working order. The first camera I bought, and it produced some good results for something so cheap. On ebay a few months back I saw one for sale at £18.00; and a dealer in the UK had one priced at £35.00 !!! |
