The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition, the film advances as it should and all shutter speeds are working perfectly. When i had finsihed the film (a test one as I only recently purchased it off ebay), i tried to rewind it back into its casing using the instructions from the manual. But it just doesnt budge? I went to a friend I know who was a photography lecturer at my college to have a look at it and he still couldnt rewind it. The only way i had to take the film out was to cut it out! After i took out the film, i looked at the take up spool. It advances as it should, but does not rotate the other way, in order to allow the film to rewind. Is there anyone who knows if this is a mechanical failure or if I am doing something wrong when rewinding the film? would be a great help. I really don't want to throw it away! |

There's a "reversing lever" on the side of the camera, beneath the rewind knob, which has to be operated first before rewinding the film. |
