Hey there, I have a Nikon D40x with the two lenses above. Both lens autofocus has stopped working! Now I thought that it must be the camera as both lenses stopped working within a few days of each other. How ever, my dad has the 18-55 lens as well for his D300, I tried his lens and it works fine??? So I'm left with the possibility that both lenses are broke? I should state as well that the lenses did work to start with for a good year to eighteen months. I have also checked the settings and all are correct as per booklet. I am not a professional btw. |
