I have a Yashica FX-D with a worn-out (plastic) battery holder. I am looking for a replacement part. I suspect that there are a number of other camera manufactures that used identical parts, since these all hold LR44 batteries, and work the same way (screw tight with a coin). This must be a common issue, so I am wondering if others know of an alternative part? Ricoh battery holders look very similar, and I can buy these new. The benefit is they are metal, while the Yashica replacement part is plastic, so will similarly fail. |
