i was running thru all shutter speeds 15-500 B half a dozen times each .making sure shutter was working properly B was very slow in returning to closed position. i,d cocked self timer don,t think i had it on B but can,t say for sure. timer is,nt ran down all way. when you cock film advance lever and press shutter release theirs just faint dull click and shutter leafs bearly move like their wanting to open . i think timer has shutter speeds locked up. film sprocket turns in unison with take up reel. film advance lever feels like when its about half way cocked that something falls off and the pressure against it drops off. that,s about as good as i can explain it,s symptoms. it,s fine camera with working meter. it has pronto-LK shutter with 50/2.8 color skopar lens. i,ve dissassembled few camera,s so i have little experience in removing top covers off different camera,s. but can,t say end result for diving into lens shutters were as succesfull. but they did,nt work when i bought them any way. i just don,t want to trash this one. any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. James

Sounds like it needs a good c,l,a on shutter timer ,cleaning the blades spotless, all linkages cla too. Sounds like a time consuming job but if you are up to it go slow and good luck. Don
