In 2001, I purchased this video/still camera and it made good pictures in good light. After taking it to the beach one year and having humidity problems, the camera no longer captured true colors - they were faded somewhat. My question is: does this camera just need a good cleaning? Do memory cards need to be replaced after multi use? We don't have a camera repair place locally and I would have to mail it out and I don't know if it is worth it. I've read some reviews on this camera and it seems mine actually made better pictures initially than most that posted a review. Thanks in advance for advice. Equifan |

My advice: throw it away, and get a nice old classic camera (the type this forum is set up to talk about) and use it to shoot Kodachrome. You will get nice sharp pictures that will not fade for a hundred years. |
