Hello all! First I'd like to apologize for my lack of appropriate terms, I am VERY novice to old cameras, however my love for them has lead me to buy a Pentax ME super and some lenses and other items off ebay. At first, the camera would not even wind. Then, I got it to wind and it wouldn't catch (no clicking when shutter pushed  ) Then it started to work, but the mirror would seem to stick (I'd have to flip the camera over to get it to open again. Now it's working fine, as far as I can tell...until, that is, I put a large lens on it. Then, the mirror sticks and will not come down until the lens comes off. I have to trip the wind lock to get it to start working without the lens (or a smaller lens) again. The lens threads on perfectly so I don't think it's the wrong size. Could someone PLEASE help?? Note: I have not put film in it yet so I am assuming that all is well without the large lenses. |
