Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, and I'm probably out of my depth a bit I'll introduce myself first - My name's Daryl - I'm a photography teacher in the UK. I've been into photography since I was 11 (25 years ago!), my main passion is analogue cameras (I don't actually own a digital camera)anything old and cool or pinhole, the simpler the better - I find it makes you concentrate more on what you are actually photographing, rather that fussing about the technical side of things. I have just started to collect some old cameras, and have just got my hands on an Anscoflex camera, now my problem is, the shutter doesn't work properly - it opens part way then stops, it will open all the way but you need to press the shutter a few times before it does. Is there anyway of fixing this? I'd like to learn how to fix old cameras - but have no idea where to start. I've been reading posts on this forum, and it looks a brilliant site to pick up good advice - so if I don't post much for a while - it's because I'm still learning Thanks for any help |
