Hi - my lens shroud on the Konica Auto S3 is dented. I got a replacement part but how do I take apart the lens? Do i have to take apart the entire camera to get to the lens elements from the back somehow? Thanks!

I do not know what you mean with "lens shroud". Do you mean the filter ring with the filter thread?

That can not be removed from the rear. Before removing it it it has to be carefully de-dented since a thin retainer ring with two notches must be unscrewed.

The built-in lens hood is held by a very thin retaining ring on the front. Slide the hood back and then unscrew that retainer, then the hood will slide off from the front.
