i had an idea...
we (actually, not me, i can't do web design.) should add a section depicting problems and solutions for specific cameras. example:
Camera: Pentax ME super
Symptoms: multiple wind, no wind lock activated. can not fire until wind lock activates.
Solution*: rubber bumper on screw holding mirror release/spring lock disintegrating, slows mechanism.
Cure: remove bumper, screw and clean with knife and reassemble and lube. be careful to not break the bumper.....
*don't know if this actually works.
anyhoo, with pics and stuff, something like this could save alot of pain and trouble. and if we all contributed a bit, it would probably be pretty useful.
any comments/suggestions? |
