I recently bought a Minolta X-700 off of ebay, and everything seems to function well, but the light meter never seems to see much light. Even when i set the film ASA dial to 1600, open the aperture all the way up, and point in straight at a bright light, it tells me that i have to go for 1/4 or 1/8 of a second shutter speed. Anything lower than this and it tells me my picture will be underexposed. I put in fresh batteries as well, and that did not solve the problem. Is there a way I could go about fixing this myself, or should just take it to a professional repair man? Thank you, Bart |
