I have a Super Ikonta BX with the selenium meter on the top and the tessar f2.8 lens (coated, labelled optar). I need to clean the interior of it of fog. Is there a way to remove the front or rear cells? There's a slotted ring that looks like it would be used to remove the rear group with a spanner wrench, but it won't budge and I fear it might be cemented in. Is there any other way? |

BTW, I think the fog is just on the inside by the aperture (ie, on an outer surface of the rear group), so if I can remove the whole group (like removing the rear of a large format lens in shutter) it shouldn't be too hard to clean. |

I looked more closely and the fog actually appears to be on the element immediately behind the front, rotating / focusing element. The fog does not rotate when I rotate the front, but it's definitely in the front part of the lens. |
