My late grandfather gave me his camera, a Rolleiflex SL35E, before he passed away in December of last year. He took many pictures with it as a hobby, and to honor his memory I would like to start using it. I replaced the battery, got new film, and am currently confounded by the small dial where I select the shutter speed. It turns, but there are no clicking noises. I took it to a camera shop, and they told me that was not good. In addition, I am looking for a new lens, as the one on it now is good for close-up shots, but not much else. Any help with either of these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
