Usually what happens to these is the advance lever gets forced after its already been cocked. What this does is bend the top of the wind shaft over so the wind lever no longer makes contact with it. It often damages the mirror cocking lever too (remove the bottom cover and take a look). Most always requires parts and the knowhow to put them in. |
