I just received a used Canon FT QL as a gift.

I am getting the hang of it, slowly, but I am getting it.

Quick question, should the light meter needle move without pressing the acuating lever? Mine is. Jumping up when pointed toward light and down when pointed towards dark.

Is this normal?
