Hi I was looking around and I can't find any answer. I just got a Yashica 35cc and while I was trying to fiddle around with it the top lens came lose. The two parts I am trying to get back together are the solid metal 'core' of the lens barrel, and the brass ring that slides the lens in/out when focusing. Does anyone know how to do it? |

A "solid metal core"? Sorry, but I can't make out whether you pulled the helical from the tubus/panel, unscrewed the front or back element, or unscrewed the shutter. It might help if you could upload a picture of the damage. |

Sevo, Thanks alot sorry for not being clear here is the photos uploaded. Basically I don't know if there is anyway to screw the screws back into the camera since it seems like I can't open the top part of the cover.

Ah, right. You need a slot tip lens wrench (spanner wrench) to unscrew the retaining ring - there are two small slots in the ring, one is visible above the "3" in the picture. If the ring is not stuck, you should also be able to make do with a caliper. |
