Can anyone tell me how to remove the top cover on a Petri Color 35? I removed the screw by the strap lug, the screws holding the flash shoe, the plastic frame surrounding the viewfinder window, and the focussing wheel. The cover is loose on the strap lug side but won't budge on the rewind crank side. The reason I need to get the top cover off is that I think there is a prism loose in there somewhere. The super imposed framing ring in the viewfinder shifts around if you tap the camera on its sides.

I thought we had this in the archive.

Anyway, you have removed too many things.

All that is left is to wedge the rewind crank in the film chamber and unscrew the lever on top.

Remove the circular nut underneath and the top will come off. The shutter speed and f stop knobs stay with the top.
