I purchased a Nikon FA for my daughter who is taking a photography class. The camera is in good shape, however, somehow she managed to unscrew the rewinder/door release from the camera. She then shut the back of the camera. I have all the parts to reassemble the camera, but need to know if there is a way to open the door without have to spend a fortune at a Nikon repair shop. Any help is appreciated. |

Reach down into the hole in the top with a small crochet hook. Feel around for anything that you can catch and pull up on, particularly in the left-hand/forward quarter of the circumference of the opening. The ledge you're after should be about 1/2" below the top, but just keep feeling around and pulling up on anything that you can catch until it opens. |
