Hi All Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here goes.. Last year I inherited a bunch of stuff from my uncle who was a quite reknowned architect in Bristol UK and keen photographer. As well as a Nikon F90X (?) and a Minolta SRT101 - stuff I can just about understand he also had two MF cameras a Bronica SQA with lens (must check that bit out) and viewfinders and a Rollieflex. The thing is I don't quite know what to do with them. As a chap with two small children and other hobbies (restoring a VW bus is one)I don't think I will be able to devote enough time to exploring the use of these items. So should I sell ? If so where ? The dreaded e-bay or a specialist site, here maybe ? All advice & thoughts welcome. Cheers James |

I have always sold my surplus kit to Ffordes Photographic up in Scotland. Always got more than fair prices, especially on the medium format stuff. I have sold single items on e-Bay without problems, but cannot be bothered when I have to list many items. On a personal note, if the SQA and Rollieflex are in reasonable nick I would keep them. However as a professional photographer, I am somewhat biased towards MF cameras - they also make rather nice book ends! |
