Hi, I have been lucky enough to purchase a Yashica CCN. The only problem is a tiny speck of mold on the one the lenses on the film side. It is tricky to get into there to remove the lens with spanner wrenches. I do not want to damage the lenses. Anyone have any advice on how to get the lens out so I can clean the lens. Thanks |

It should not be too much troube to open the lens from the inside, if you have a spanner wrench or needle-nose tweezer. Protect the glass with some tape or cardbord in case you slip with the tools. Going in from the front should be possible as well, but there are a lot of cables and electronics to remove until you are there... If the spot on the lens is really tiny, I would probably leave it as it is and only remove it, if you can see some impact on your negatives. |

Vinzenz, Thanks for the advice. I decided to leave the spot as is. I suspect that it will not impact the photos. It is so small that I have hard seeing when I try to locate it. Thanks for the advice again. Mike |
