Hi there. This is my first post here. I've been perusing for a while.
I bought a Konica auto S2 for a pittance yesterday. It looks like a great camera.
The only problem with it is that the rangefinder mirror has fallen off (so i assume- there is no spot visible in the viewfinder)
I just can't work out how to get the top plate off- there are no screws or pins on the advance lever. Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
D

Hello,
The advance lever cover on the S2 is a screw. You need a rubber pad of some sort (I use a pink, rubber ball) to unscrew the top of the lever using friction.

Cool- the range-finder is now fixed and seems spot on. Now for the shutter.....
