hi everyone, I just found my mom's old SRTsuper and I'd really like to start using it. Only problem is, the back refuses to open. I've made sure its rewound completely and all the right buttons are pressed.. when lifting the rewind knob, it makes a clicking noise as if it should open but just doesn't. when trying to pull on the back, its completely stuck. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance |

The catch spring could be stuck. An easy fix is to remove the base plate, only 2 screws, and look at the far edge right where the door closes. You will see a long thin flat piece of spring steel ,(NOT the coiled spring), pull on it with a small screwdriver, the door should now open. |
