Hello, new to this forum! I recently picked up an Iloca IIa and took it apart for a shutter cleaning, as per the instructions found on pheugo.com. My problem is that when the shutter is cocked, the 'leaves' stay open, instead of closed. This is probably because someone forced the shutter back to its original position with no film in the camera. Any suggestions as to how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. Ive provided a picture as well. Thanks! -Adam |

A close-up of the shutter mechanism would help. Looking at the photo provided, there does not appear to be any bent levers on the top side. The blades look like they are on the open cycle just after the shutter as been released. If the blades are oil free, then you will have to dismantle the latching levers on the left side. The blade drive lug will be under there. |
