I just bought a Yashica Mat LM recently and it's pretty banged up. The focusing knob is really loose, it's dangling off, and I'd like to get it back to its original position. Any advice, please? Tom_cheshire: If you spin off the cover disc which is the center of that knob, under that is a big nut that can be tightened. I spun it off, I think, but the whole focusing knob came off. Now i can't put it back, i think the nuts inside may have come out of position. Is there anyway i can put it back on? Thanks. |

The flat face of the knob unscrews - I think there ought to be 2 small holes in it for the points of a spanner, but I'm not sure. Once you've removed this, you can put the knob back in place (make sure the focus is set correctly) and then secure it with the nut, and screw the face plate back on. |
