Hi folks, Recently I've got a pretty good TL-super, I mean the appearance. Inside I've found several problem, one of which is low speed gap, 1/8" speed is just as slow as 1", and other speed slower than 1/30" have different gap as well. After check, I believe the problem is the limit bar in slow speed mechanism, it has a strange position that caused damper rod located wrong, especially for the 1" setting, the attached picture showed limit bar is far away from the damper rod after shutter loaded. What's more, the limit bar doesn't seem to be worn out or bent for big force, I can't understand how can it happen. So I would ask for a similar picture like the attached one, if some guy owned this camera and was able to take the top cover away. Many thanks for help! BR, Chang

Oops, forget about that, I've found a related parts chart for J-7 which has the similar mechanism, and now confirmed the limit bar has bent. |
