Just wondering if anyone knows if the Tamron Adaptall mount was ever available in Canon breechlock style mount either FL or FD mount. I have the 90mm Tamron macro with a modern FD Adaptall but am using it with all older breechlock style stuff. The objective is to keep it all looking the same with all breechlock look. Thanks. |

Don't know about being made in the FL mount but Adaptall mounts were made in the traditional FD mount. Fairly easy to find at camera fairs. |

Ok, I will look for one in breech mount then. Didn't want to start a search for something that might not have existed. |

I just checked my kit, I have the 90mm macro with an adaptall breech-lock mount on it. The twist ring is black, though, not chrome. The designator is C/FD. |

I think early model Tamron FD mounts had a chrome ring and later ones were black. I seem to remember having both. Ronnie |
