I have a Bell and Howell 35-70 zoom in K-mount. I am trying to find out who built it. It is a heavy and solid lens and gave me pretty good results on my ME Super, before the electronics went south. Serial number on the lens is 231917. I've tried searching every way I can think of and have totally struck out. Thanks Roy |

Hi i write from Italy, Milan. I have an old reflex camera Bell & Howell TTL II, K-mount, with two lenses, 50mm f2.8 and 135 mm f2.8. My granphather bought it in west germany. the camera has been available since 1971. the producer can be Iaghee. it's a clone of Exacta Twin TL. Can you send me a photo of the bayonet fitting? maybe it's the same as mine and now i'm looking for some lenses. |

Hi Ted: Haven't been here for quite a while, so I apologize for the long delay. The mount is a standard Pentax K-mount. Roy |

First obvious question - what country was the lens made in? It should be on the lens somewhere, usually on the barrel. It doesn't narrow things down much, but it will tell us something. |

Check some specs against some of the rebadged Pentax-made ones here: http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/lenses/zooms/_non-SMC/index.html If it measures up closely to the CPC, or Cosmicar 35-70 versions, then you've got your answer! |
