I have started researching this camera I found today, an Ihagee Parvola from circa 1933 or so. One site says its rare, but I can find no values for it. None have sold on ebay that I can find. Here's a link to one that is similar to mine, but not quite identical. Thanks for any help. http://www.camerapedia.org/wiki/Parvola |

Also named the Klein-Ultrix. My book says it is in the $100. range. 127 film or plate or filmpacks. Sounds like the little Korelle P that I had except the Korelle has bellows. |

Thanks Tom. It's a nifty little camera. Mine is an earlier version than on that Camerapedia page. Mine has no strap lugs on top like that one does. I got the leather carrying case with it, but the case is deteriorated. The camera is actually still working, although it needs a CLA. The slow shutter speeds are too slow. Like, one second is more like 2 or 3, one-half second is more like one second, and so on. On the speeds, it has B and T. B is Bulb of course, but what is T? Timer? |

T is probably time, which means the shutter opens and stays open until you press the release a second time. Very handy back in the days of slow film. |

Here's a link to a pic of the camera. I can't figure out how to post the photo here. Thanks to all. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/5F6jfpKNTXIIsCyUf438_A?feat=directlink |

Yikes, what a helix. Looks like it went for "helix augmentation surgery". T = Time. Click it, it opens and stays open. Click it again, it closes. For "Time" exposures. Or for focusing with a ground glass. |
