I have an FX 2 from the '56-'58/9 production but don't seem to be able to find the serial number anywhere. Can anyone tell me where I should find it or if it should be numbered at all, please? Peter. |

Hi! In my Praktica [1950] the serial number is engraved below the frame of exposure and film track on the back plate. Need to open the back door to see it. In the Nova I PL series I found the number under the spring latch that fastens the rear door. I hope this helps. Regards, sp |

Thanks. I opened it up, again, and found the number stamped in the cassette chamber-213523.It just needed some strong light to see it. Peter. |

Would anyone happen to know where the serial numbers are for the Praktica LLC, PLC 3, and VLC 3? I've looked inside and out and can't find them anywhere. |
